VHS, VHS-C, Hi8 or DV Tapes converted to USB (We don’t copy film or super 8)

$45each for 1-3 tapes being converted
$35 for 4-10 tapes
$30each for 11+ tapes

USB’s (on top of the price of conversion) 16gb =$10, 32gb=$20, 64GB=$40, 128gb $80 or Hard drive 1TB $99 2TB $120.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. As tapes are old and most manufactures only give a 1year warranty we can’t guarantee quality or that the original tape may be damaged in the process. Often if a tapes film snaps we can operate on it by pulling it apart and sticking the tape back together. The cost for this service is $30 per broken tape. Broken tapes are rare but are more common in Hi8 tapes. Please ask us for more details.

2. Due to the process of converting Analogue to Digital the image & sound can be degraded.  Due to several sound formats, cameras & recorders used to produce the VHS you can experience a phenomena where as the sound can create a knocking (helicopter) sound once recorded. This sound is often not present or very faint in the original media. The only way to fix this properly would be to match your recorded camera with the machine digitising the VHS which is often extremely difficult. Please ask us for more information on this.

3. We recommend where possible making copies of your new USB for safe keeping.
